Paul "Mike" Gossage, of Indianapolis, has passed away at the age of 67 in Anderson, IN, after bravely facing an extended battle with cancer.
Paul was born in Anderson, IN, on April 21, 1957, and throughout his life, he was known for his simple and private nature. He had a unique sense of humor that brought joy to those around him, although he could be quite stubborn and ornery at times. He was a barber for many years as well as being known as a skilled handyman.
Paul is survived by his loving family and friends who will miss him dearly. He leaves behind cherished memories that will be forever treasured by all those who knew him. Surviving him are his siblings Bret Gossage, Jenni Coon (Mike), and Dee Dee Keesling (Ralph); nieces and nephews MacKenzie Campbell (Aaron), Taylor Gossage, Marissa Carr (Michael), Katie Rogers (Drew), and Austin Keesling; great nieces Penelope and Noelle; and great nephew Guss.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jonah and Betty (Pace) Gossage.
Although Paul may have been a simple man, his impact on others was profound. He will be remembered for his wit, his talent, and above all, his kind heart. May he rest in peace knowing that he was truly loved and appreciated by so many.
