Penny Rios Bagley

Penny Bagley, age 61, of Muncie, passed away on August 5, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis. She was born on August 20, 1958 to Joe Hawkins and Melanie Jones.

Penny loved her kids, grandkids, family and pets. Her grandchildren were her entire world. Penny was a happy-go-lucky, feisty woman who was always happy. She loved to smile and make other people smile. She had a mind of her own. Her hobbies included crochet, word puzzles, and doing crafts with her best friend Tammy. She was a wonderful person who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Penny is survived by her mother Melanie Jones; father Joe Hawkins; sisters Paula Ball, Julie Smith (Billy), Katlin Fowler, Judy (Chris) Johnson, and Mary Taylor; brothers Perry Hawkins, Mason Jones, and Alex Jones; children Mindy Jones Abby Keller (Ariraimu), and Amanda Bagley; grandchildren Erica Edwards, Terence Walker, Clarence Walker, Teryon Walker, Olyvia Bagley, Kenya Jones, Kenny Jones, and Grace Swallows; several nieces and nephews; and best friend Tammy Porter.

She is preceded in passing by her husband Edward Bagley; grandmother Maxine Steele; uncle Ted Richardson; cousins Steven Edward Richardson and Florance Stanley; and sister Sharon Taylor.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 2-3pm with a funeral service beginning at 3pm at Legacy Funeral Home- Anderson. Cremation will follow.
