Philip John Antonino

July 9, 1956 — March 5, 2025

Anderson, IN

Philip John Antonino lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and kindness. A proud Navy veteran, he carried the spirit of service beyond his time in uniform, touching the lives of everyone he met. With a welcoming smile and a heart open to all, he never met a stranger—only friends he hadn't yet made.

Philip had a passion for barbecue, turning every meal into a gathering, and an unexpected love for unicorns that brought joy to those around him. His presence was one of unwavering love and generosity, leaving a lasting impact on family, friends, and all who crossed his path.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Antonino; his brother, Thomas Antonino; and his sister, Francine Caruso. His legacy continues through his children: Stacy (Donald) Ingram, Trease (Matthew Sr.) Baker, Jenny (Jonathon) Bartlett, Carolyn (William) Nickerson, Destin Dixon, Kevin Parker, Mark Antonino, and Shaun Antonino. He was a cherished grandfather to DJ, Tiffany, Joseph, Isaiah, Matthew, Angela, Autumn, Mackinzie, Lacey, and Liam, and a proud great-grandfather to Donald, David, and Janis.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Francine Antonino.

A visitation is going to be held on Thursday March 13, 2025, from 11am to 1pm with burial following the next day at Marion National Cemetery at 11am.

His life was a testament to love, laughter, and the power of connection. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
