Philip Mcdaniel

Philip McDaniel, age 63, of Alexandria, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 16, 1959 in Rushville, IN to the late Emerson and Marie McDaniel.

Philip served in the United State Marine Corp. and was extremely proud to be an American. He attended Vermillion Friends Church for many years and was a true believer in Jesus Christ. He was always spoiling his wife and his family any chance he could. He loved to be outside fishing. He had a huge heart, was outgoing, and got along with everyone. He was an all-around great man who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Philip is survived by his wife of 39 years, Robin McDaniel; children Tiffany Johnson, Josh McDaniel, Adam McDaniel, and Amber McDaniel; grandchildren Cameron Johnson, Caitlin Johnson, Emilee Baker, Jaylynn McDaniel, Emma Lowers, and Natalie McDaniel; siblings Joyce Tole, Terry McDaniel, Paul McDaniel, and David McDaniel; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Debbie McDaniel.

A visitation will be held on Monday October 25, 2021 from 1-2pm with a funeral service beginning at 2pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
