Phyllis Bone, a resident of Heritage Lake in Putnam County Indiana, passed away suddenly on December 20th, 2018 at the age of 69. Phyllis was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 1st, 1949. She was a member of the Fairmont West High School class of 1967. Phyllis was an active member of the community. She was a devout Christian and donated her time, money, and service to various missions and charities. Phyllis loved her family and traveling. She had traveled to five of the seven continents and was planning her trip to a sixth continent upon her unexpected death.
Phyllis was proceeded in death by her parents Oscar Ray and Resee Freeland. Her loving husband, Shirley Bone and her great grandson Kai Naue.
Phyllis is survived by her brother Larry (Betty) Freeland; her three children Brian (Karen)Bone, Angela (Robin) Magee, and Crystal (Chad) White; her seven grandchildren Lacey Bone, Jessica (Chad) Bechard, Rebecca (Austin) Naue, Kyle Bone, Zachary Olson, Emily Olson, and Connor White; and one great grandchild, Sawyer Bechard.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis, Indianapolis, IN 46221.
