Phyllis Janette Bryans

Phyllis Bryans age 71 passed away January 21, 2021. She was born August 12, 1949 to Wilbert and Virginia (Nellie) Reed. She grew up in LaGrange Indiana and moved to Anderson Indiana to attend Anderson College.
She graduated with a Degree in Social Work. She worked as an Assistant director of day care center. She was field trip coordinator for Madison and Delaware county Home Schooling Organization 1986-1992. Implemented a diverse variety of classes taught by AU students to Home School students. She was always a great coordinator.
She made friends everywhere she went. She volunteered with Red Cross and Salvation Army. She worked with families at shelters. She loved working as a substitute teacher in surrounding communities 1995-2005. Recently enjoyed documenting her memories of Lagrange and even had several stories published in the hometown paper.
She is preceded in death by parents Wilbert (2007), Virginia (2013), and Granddaughter Madison Bryans (2002).
Survived by Ex-husband Barry Bryans and 3 children; Raymond Bryans, Suzanne Bryans, and Nathan with wife Amy Bryans and Grandson Cameron.
