Priscilla Ann Emery

Priscilla Ann Emery, 85, of Lawrence, IN passed away on July 1, 2019. She was born in Lawrence, IN on August 3, 1933 to the late Richard and Mildred (Marshall) McConnell. Priscilla graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1951. She lived her whole life and raised her family in Lawrence with her late husband, Richard. She was a lunch lady for 29 years with Lawrence Township Schools, retiring in 2000. Priscilla was a life-long member of the Church of God, Anderson, IN, and most recently Church at the Crossing.

Priscilla loved to spend time with her family, and she loved to sing and lead worship at her church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Richard E. Emery; her parents, mentioned above; step-mother, Hazel McConnell; and brother, John McConnell.

Priscilla is survived by her children, Stephen Emery (Dawn), Jeffery Emery (Beckie), Sharon Young (Eric), Susan Harper (Dennis), and Richard Emery (Donette Cassman); sister, Naomi Wilcher; grandchildren, Ritchey Emery (Rhiannon), Angie Christman (Andy), Meagan Smith (Mark), Shelby Harper, Chelsea Trotter, and Paige Yoder (Caleb); great-grandchildren, Morgan, Jake, Ellie and Gracie; along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11am to 2pm on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a service to start at 2pm at the funeral home.  Burial to follow at Old Oaklandon Cemetery, Lawrence, IN.
