Ralph L. Pacey

December 20, 1944 — February 17, 2025

Indianapolis

Ralph Lee Pacey, 80, Indianapolis, was born December 20,1944 in Indianapolis and passed away February 17, 2025, in Brownsburg, IN surrounded by his family. He graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1963 and moved to Chicago to further his education. In 1968 he then selflessly joined the US Army, serving Germany, and returned home in 1971 to raise his family in Indianapolis. He was an electrical technician that worked on ground-based radar systems and retired from Raytheon. After retirement, he enjoyed assembling products working part-time at Walmart.

Ralph was a treasure trove of fascinating facts and always had a dad joke on hand. He was the epitome of a skilled craftsman and could bring any project to life with passion and precision. He took great pride in sharing his wisdom with his children and grandchildren, empowering them to reach their full potential. He never met an animal he didn’t like and even the most frightened animals were drawn to his compassionate heart.

He was preceded in death by his father, William. H Pacey Jr; his mother, Virginia Crouch Pacey; and his wife, Rennell Marie Pacey.

Ralph is survived by his sister, Jeanne Crockett; daughter, Angela Pacey; son, Colin Pacey; stepson Marc Wellington (Jennifer); grandsons Jakob Pacey (Demi), Austin Pacey and Bryson Pacey; granddaughters Mia Pacey, Elyssia Wellington and Jasmine Wellington; great grandsons, Colter and Kalvin. Along with several nieces and nephews.

He will be laid to rest at Washington Park East with no public service.
