Ramona Kaye Wininger

Ramona Kaye (Bridges) Wininger, 71, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 6, 2020. She was born on July 27, 1948 in Glasgow Kentucky to Homer and Phyllis (Edwards) Bridges. Ramona, lovingly known as Kaye by her friends and family, went to Howe High School. Although she lived in many different places since her youth, she has resided in Irvington for the last several years.

Kaye was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where she accepted Jesus as her Savior and she enjoyed fellowship there for many years. She loved to travel and experienced the lavender fields of France, Big Ben in England, and the koalas and kangaroos in Australia.

Kaye was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Wininger; father, Homer Wood Bridges; and sister, Connie (Bridges) Metcalf.

Kaye is survived by her son, Steve Jobes, who she loved very much; mother, Phyllis Bridges; sister, Sandra “Sandy” Riley (Robert); brother, Kerry “Woody” Bridges (Joyce); along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 12pm to 2pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with the service to start at 2pm. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
