Randy Smith

Randy Smith, 47, of Indianapolis, died in a vehicle accident on US 40 on August 24, 2018.  He was born on November 8, 1970 in Shelbyville, Indiana to the late Frank and Anna Ruth Smith.  Randy was once in his life in need of help, and because he got it, he decided to pay it forward by assisting at different homeless shelters.  He helped the homeless with job placement and finding homes.

He is preceded in death by his parents, mentioned above, along with his sisters, Cynthia Smith and Tina Crouch.  Randy is survived by his two children, Angelica Lowe and Gavin Green; sisters, Machelle Collins, Terry Arnett, and Patricia Wayt; brother, Fred Smith; and lots of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services are at 12noon on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation starting at 10am until the start of the service.  Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
