Raul Jimenez

Raul Jimenez, 67 of Indianapolis passed away on Jan 3, 2025. He was born July 14, 1957, in Mexico City to the loving parents of Gonzalo and Elvira Jimenez. Raul was well known for his love of cars and lowriders. He turned his passion for painting and restoring cars into a hobby and business. Raul was one of the original members of Life’s 2 Low car club of Indianapolis.

Raul graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1976 where he played on the varsity football team as a Kicker. He graduated from Lincoln Tech in 1976 with a certificate in Automotive Mechanical Engineering. Raul worked for Wilburt Burial Vault for 39 years.

Raul was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His strong will, quiet strength, and resilience was admired by all who knew him.

Raul is survived by his three sons Carlos Nelson (Alexandria), Raul Jimenez Jr, Keyon Jimenez, daughter Jasmine Jimenez, sister Patricia Ketron (Earl), eight grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins to whom all he adored.

Raul was preceded in death by his parents Gonzalo and Elvira Jimenez, brother Gonzalo Jimenez Jr.
