Raymond Anthony Waymire

Raymond Anthony Waymire Jr., age 46, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2021. He was born on August 11, 1975 to Raymond Waymire Sr. and Maryetta Raisin.

Raymond was an honest, hard working man, who was always there to help people in need. He would give you the shirt off of his back if he could. He was friends with everyone and didn’t know a stranger. He had a huge heart and would take care of anyone in any situation. He loved to spend time in his garage tinkering and fixing things. If it had a motor, he could fix it. He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles as his hobby. He was hardheaded but extremely funny, always the life of the party. He enjoyed having cook outs with friends and family and spending time with his grandson any chance he could. He was a wonderful father, grandpa, son and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Raymond is survived by his children Devin Waymire (Sydney Chambers) and Olivia Waymire; grandson Matthew Waymire; girlfriend Jacklyn Jolliff; mother of his children Heather Waymire; parents Raymond Waymire Sr and Maryetta Raisin (John); sister Jamie Wehrley (Kevin); and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Uncle David Waymire, cousin Charlie Lycan, and his Aunt Leah White.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 9, 2021 at 3pm at the Legion Post 127 at Columbus and 42^nd St in Anderson.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
