Raymond Brian Poor

The family of Raymond Brian Poor, of Anderson, is saddened to announce his passing on August 5, 2021 at the age of 56.

Brian will be lovingly remembered by his parents John and Carol Poor; children Josiah McWilliams, Gage (Julie) Poor, Dakota Poor, and Chloe Poor; grandchildren Brinlee, Rowan, Brennox, and a new one coming soon; sisters Laura (Chuck) Thompson, Beth Dickey; Aunt Roseanne (Charles) Bowan; Uncle Tommy Broyles; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Nora Poor, grandparents Raymond and Phyllis Poor, Marjorie Moore, uncles John Broyles and Lon Broyles. aunt Deborah Vaughn, and uncle and best friend, Mace Brizendine.

Brian graduated from Frankton High School, and worked for AT&T for 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golfing, gardening, fishing, and hunting. He loved watching his children play sports and spending time at the lakes with family and friends. He enjoyed participating in his kids activities, keeping books for his children’s baseball games and being a part of the Frankton High School football chain for many years.

A service will be held at the family’s request in the coming days. Time an date will be announced via social media.
