Raymond Edward Higgenbottom II

Raymond Edward Higgenbottom, II, 71, a shining light, passed away on March 28, 2025. He retired from Redcat USA after 19 incredible years as a material handler, leaving a legacy of dedication. He attended Indiana University Indianapolis from 1971-1978, majoring in Mathematics and Science. He was a devoted member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, where he selflessly served as an usher. His volunteer work with the Kiwanis Club earned him the Kiwanis Distinguished Service Award. As a Charter Member of the Indiana Autism Sertoma, he exemplified compassion and commitment. He also delighted in walking, math, science, and playing video games. Memorial contributions can be made to the Autism Society of Indiana, 10255 Commerce Drive, Carmel, Suite 164, Carmel, IN 46032, continuing his legacy of kindness.

He was preceded in death by his mother Wilma (Schrowe) Higgenbottom and his father Raymond Higgenbottom. He is survived by his two sisters, Suzanne Horton, 1 niece, and 2 great-nieces, Diane Higgenbottom, his brother Phillip (Beth), and 4 nieces and nephews, and 10 great-nieces and nephews.
