Raymond Eugene Litherland

Raymond Eugene Litherland, 79, went to be the with the Lord on January 2, 2025.

Raymond was admitted into the hospital early November. He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He received one round of chemo, and was doing really well, then he ended up with pneumonia. He fought hard, until his body could no longer fight. He came home on hospice.

Raymond loved to play the drums. For many years, he was in several bands around Indianapolis. He spent a lot of his free time either playing drums or listening to music. He also enjoyed fishing. When he wasn’t playing drums or listening to music, he loved to pick on his grandkids.

Raymond worked in the heavy equipment industry for 45 plus years. For the last 14 years he delivered auto parts for Advance Auto.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa Litherland, parents Charles and Lelia Litherland, and sister Cathy Litherland. 

He was survived by his wife Joellen Litherland, sons Kyle (Sandra) Litherland, Derrick (Spring) Litherland, daughter Jessica Litherland, grandchildren Sean, Brayden, Salena, Karoline, Arie, Kia, and Micheal.
