Rebah Z. Eaton

Rebah Z. Eaton, 88, of Greenfield, IN, passed away on October 31, 2019. She was born on April 2, 1931 in Midland, IN to the late Orville and Winne (Fields) Eaton, who died when she was a small child. Her Aunt and Uncle, Mabel and Floyd Bridwell raised her and her 5 siblings. Rehab graduated from Midland High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from IU.

Rebah served in the United States Air Force. She was stationed in Okinawa, Japan.

Rebah worked as a nurse anesthetist for multiple hospitals, retiring after 40 years from the VA hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Rebah loved her family and was truly devoted to all those in need. She loved all animals, but had a special place in heart for cats and dogs. She was a devoted Sister and Aunt loved by so many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, aunt and uncle, mentioned above, along with her siblings, Donetta M. Gulley, Virginia L. Buckheister, Mary Lou Penfield, Garland Eaton, and Robert Eaton. Rebah is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews; and several great, great nieces and nephews, along with her friend of 55 years Roberta Shields.

The family will be having a private memorial service at a later date.
