Ms. Rebecca Ellen Leslie

Rebecca Ellen Leslie, 87, of Greenwood, IN died on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at her residence.  She was born on February 7, 1934 in McQuady, KY to the late Kenneth and Fannie Mae (Anderson) Mitchell.

She was devoted to her family and was always willing to help when someone needed it. She was a kind, loving and gentle soul.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer L. Leslie; brother, Owen (Martha) Mitchell; sister, Margaret Neville; nieces, Kimberley (Trent) Davis, Lori (Tony) Weaver, Sheryl (Fred) Borszem, Brenda (Gino) Phillips, Lisa Phillips-Reynolds, Linda (Tom) Sweares, Cathy Mitchell-Clark, Sue McAdams, Holly Neville, Donna (Everett) Neville-Theiler, and Sherry Mitchell; nephews, Shannon (Paula) Mitchell, Steve Phillips, Mike (Cindy) Mitchell, Rick (Becky) Mitchell, Doug (Cindy) Mitchell and Emmitt (Pam) Mitchell.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Leslie; brothers, Darrell, Jim and Frank Mitchell and a sister, Rachel Phillips;  nieces, Stephanie Jeannette, Sandy Mitchell and nephews, Brad Phillips, Brian Mitchell and Greg Mitchell.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Garden, 1977 S. SR 135, Greenwood, IN.  Arrangements were entrusted to Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
