Rebecca Lynn Sanborn

Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Sanborn, 54, Daleville, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on May 27, 2020 at IU Methodist in Indianapolis after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm. She was born July 9, 1965 to Bernard L Meer and Doris Elaine Keihn. She was married to Tim C Sanborn for 26 years.

Becky was a caring and giving person who loved helping others in any way she could. She was employed at Crown Manufacturing in New Castle where she had many friends. She was a hard worker and enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband Tim. She loved her church and was an active member of Cadiz Christian church. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter Courtney and her grandson Kasen. She was excited to have a new granddaughter on the way this September. Above all else, she loved her family and always maintained a positive outlook on life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard L. Meer and her mother, Doris Elaine Keihn. She is survived by her husband, Tim Sanborn; her daughter, Courtney Meer (Justin Raborn); stepchildren, Angela (Justin) Johnson and Kevin (Kate) Sanborn; her grandchildren Kasen Warren, Lauren and Travis Johnson, and Annalee Sanborn; her siblings Cindy Meer, Bernie (Donna) Meer, Lucy (Ronnie) Strunk; her aunts, Sara Carey and Luella New; nephews Donnie Varner and Daniel Strunk; nieces Brittany (Brian) Martinez and Heather Jacobs; as well as several first and second cousins.

Services will be held Wednesday, June 3rd at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services located at 504 W Ninth St in Anderson, IN. Viewing will be from 11 am to noon and services following after, with pastor Jeff Johnson presiding.
