Rebecca Ann McCord, known to her loved ones as "Becky," passed away on October 10th, 2023, at the age of 64. Her departure marks the end of a remarkable life that was filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. Becky was born on November 25th, 1958, to her parents Fred McCord Sr. and Betty McCord, both of whom she is now reunited with in the afterlife. She also preceded in death by her brother, Fred “Bill” McCord Jr. And late son Micheal McCord.

Becky is survived by her loving sister, Cindy Ellis, and her three devoted sons, Mac McCord Sr., Matthew McCord Sr., and Myron McCord. Daughter in law Kayla McCord. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Matthew McCord Jr., Mac McCord Jr., Landon McCord, Makayla McCord, Benjamin McCord, and Makinzie McCord , who held a special place in her heart.

Becky was a force of nature, a true spitfire, and the kind of person you wanted by your side through thick and thin. Her strong will and unwavering determination were an inspiration to all who knew her. Her love for her family was boundless, and she took immense pride in each of their unique attributes and accomplishments.

One of Becky's greatest joys in life was her love for animals. She had a special bond with her cherished dog, Brutus, who brought her endless comfort and companionship. Whether it was the wagging tail of a faithful dog or the gentle purring of a cat, Becky had an incredible ability to connect with all creatures great and small.

In her spare time, Becky found happiness in life's simplest pleasures. She had a fondness for a warm beer shared with her family, relishing the moments when loved ones gathered to share stories, laughter, and camaraderie. To Becky, these were the moments that truly mattered.

Becky's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and a zest for life that will continue to inspire her family and friends for generations to come.
