Rebecca “Becky” Walters McMullen left her friends and family on December 19th. She passed peacefully at home. She loved life and fought a hard battle with liver disease. She will be missed.
Becky was born on June 19, 1950, in Anderson. She graduated from Anderson High School. She retired from RCA in Marion.
Becky loved her family and friends. She was always up for a good time.
She is survived by her brothers Greg (Sheila) Walters, Steve (Deb) Walters, Tim (Jody) Walters, Jeff (Suzanne) Knobloch, and Tony (Karen) Knobloch; Sisters Nancy Carpenter and Paula Fair; Nieces Sheiletha, Angie, Missy, and Jacinda; Nephews Tre, Greg, Brent, Jeremiah, Brian, and Jake; Great nieces Kiely, Kinsly, Leish, Emma, Tori, Marlee, Katelynn, Savannah, and Callie; Great nephews Ben, Tre, and Dawson; and great great niece Lola. She loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry McMullen; her father Raymond Walters; her mother Lola (Kate) Knobloch; Stepdad Eugene Knobloch; Sister Pam Hagan; and brother-in-law Denise Carpenter.
Per Becky’s wishes there will only be a celebration of life on December 28th from 1- 4 at the East Side House of Prayer, 1512 E 16th Street. Steve Mills will officiate her service at 4:00.
