Richard Lee Domke

Richard Lee Domke, 65, passed away on August 22, 2024, in Anderson, Indiana. Richard was born in Phoenix Arizona to Fred and Betty Domke.

Richard loved camping, fishing, hunting, and playing guitar. Richard was a skilled carpenter that often-built things for around the home and for his daughter Karen. You could always find Richard in the garage working on tearing out an engine or making custom wood projects for customers or his family. Rick loved making jokes and acted much like a child at heart for most of his life. If he wasn’t at work he was spending time with friends, always making new friends as he didn’t know a stranger, helping someone fix a vehicle, playing cards, shooting guns, and enjoying a fire outside with a few drinks. He loved the drink “yucka yucka”.

Richard loved his dogs and always spoke highly of the dogs he had in the past. He was great at training dogs and very much enjoyed their companionship.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Betty Domke as well as his brother Jeff.

Richard is survived by his children Chris Laws, Karen Clark (Joseph), Rochelle Schiele, and Richard Lee Domke Jr; ex-wife and close friend Linda Domke; siblings Susan, Greg, Cindy, Corrine, Kevin, David, and Joe; as well as several grandchildren including Kevin Holsinger and Ethan Holsinger whom he cherished very much.
