Mr. Richard Edward Woodson Iii

Richard Edward Woodson III, age 46, of Indianapolis, IN died unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, March 25, 2019.  He was born on May 5, 1972 to Richard Edward Woodson, Jr. and Kay Frances (Simmons) Rapier.

He was a Master Barber and owned his own business.  He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, Senior Warden Abraham #14.  Richard graduated from North Central High School with the Class of 1990.

He is survived by his parents; sisters, Crystal Woodson, Rhonda Holland and Kimberly Woodson; daughter, Jade Woodson; cousin, Joel Simmons; brother, Pastor James Hawkins; grandparents, Elder Jimmie and Louise Smith; Uncle and Aunt Steve and Wanda Beavers as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Mae Woodson and Dave and Bernice Simmons.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. at Berean Bible Church, 5602 N. Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis.  Burial will follow at Washington Park North Cemetery.  Memorials in memory of Mr. Woodson can be made to the family for final expenses.  Envelopes will be available at the church.  Arrangements were entrusted to Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
