Richard Paul Goode

Richard Paul Goode, 66, passed away on October 29, 2024. He was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on January 6, 1958, to John and Nila (Rardon) Goode. Richard lived and worked in Indianapolis through most of his life. He was a proud carpenters union worker. He loved the Indianapolis Colts and worked for Mrs. Nancy Irsay as her estate maintenance supervisor. Rick also was self employed as a painting contractor. 

 An enthusiastic classic car lover of 60-70’s model's. Rick described himself as a private person, but he was known for having lifelong friends who he spent time with regularly. He had a deep appreciation for music. He was especially fond of The Rolling Stones. He also enjoyed horse racing, and visits to casinos. He found joy in traveling to see friends in Florida.

He is predeceased by his mother, Nila, and brother, Joel. Richard’s memory will be forever cherished by his father, John I Goode (Linda) brothers, Mike (Kim), Bill, Tony, and Bobby; sisters, Robin, Jamie (Kent), and Kim, Jill; beloved nieces, nephews, great nephews, and a great niece on the way.

Richard Paul Goode's spirit and quirky personality traits marked by his passions and connections, will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rick requested that there only be a private graveside service for family and few close friends. This will take place at Washington Park Cemetery East on Sunday November 10th at 2pm in the reflections area 3c. In lieu of flowers, his family has kindly requested donations made to his final expenses by calling Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services-- Lawrence at 317-562-0145.
