Robert A. Smith

Robert Ambrose Smith, age 77, of Cumberland, passed away on November 6, 2017. He was born April 5, 1940 to the late Ambrose and Alice (Hloucal) Smith. He was a Graduate of Purdue University, Indianapolis, IN. He married Cathy Sue (Harris) Martin and enjoyed marital bliss for over 40 years. He enjoyed his career as an architectural specifications writer. Bob enjoyed being outside, maintaining his lawn, and spending time with his family.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Smith; daughters, Jennifer Call (Smith), Monica Foltz (Smith), Melissa Dixon (Smith), and Teresa Smith; grandchildren, Jordan, Tyler, Jacob, Joshua, Katelyn, and Megan. He is preceded in death by a sister, JoAnne Henn (Smith); and a daughter, Laura Scarbarough (Smith).

The Family will hold a private memorial service and appreciates all thoughts and prayers. Arrangements were entrusted to Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
