Cloverdale— Robert “Bob” W. Turpin, age 74, passed away on Wednesday January 9th 2019 at his home with his loving family surrounding him after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Pamela, his younger brother, Danny and sister, Debi, four children, Robert, Angela, Kimberly and Jeffrey. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Jesse, Elizabeth, Randy, Michael, Darrian, Mia, Zane, Lacey and four great grandchildren, Aidan, Alex, Chloe and Olivia.
Robert is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served his country with Pride and Honor as an Airman in the United States Airforce. Robert was a retired Butcher from Kroger where he worked for 36 years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and attended Faith Baptist Church in Cloverdale, Indiana.
A celebration of his life with be held on Tuesday, January 15th from 1 pm to 3 pm at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services located at 1604 W Morris St, Indianapolis IN. In lieu of flowers a Memorial Contribution can be made to St. Judes Children Foundation, where Robert and his wife Pamela always made annual donations.
