Robert “Bob” Edward Wells, age 66, of Fountaintown, Indiana passed away on March 14, 2020 at his home.
Bob was born on May 8th, 1953 in Indianapolis to the late Benjamin and Esther (Wilhoit) Wells.
He began his career at the United States Postal Service in 1985 where he was a letter carrier for 6 years. Subsequently, he would become a USPS Tractor Trailer Driver for 26 years. The last 3 years at USPS, he had the position as Clerk Vehicle Dispatcher.
Bob was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He had a natural talent for carpentry, sketching art and music. He was a hard working man that would lend a helping hand to anyone. He had an amazing sense of humor and an infectious laugh. His hobbies were carpentry, boating, fishing, hunting, automobiles, guitars and collecting guns and knives.
He leaves behind his children, Robert J. Wells, Nathan J. Wells, Kyla (Kyle) Ravenscraft, and Megan (Mike) Lakin
and siblings, Laura (Jim) Gregory of Danville, Jesse Cochran of Indianapolis, and Wiley (Terri) Brown of Barbourville, Kentucky; and 5 grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews. Proceeding him in death were his parents, Benjamin and Esther Wells; brothers, Jimmy, Mason, Lee and Carlos; and sisters Saundra and Pauline.

Bob’s final resting place will be at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
