Robert Johnson

Robert “Bubby” Johnson, age 46, of Anderson, passed away on November 9, 2019. He was born on October 2, 1973 to John and Mary Johnson.

Robert adored his children and grandchildren. He coached his son in baseball for many years, coached in Babe Ruth, as well as served as the Vice President for the Brooklyn Little League. He loved to spend time riding motorcycles and playing golf, and always had to buy the coolest golf shoes. Robert was a great man and will deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert is survived by his children Mercedez (Michael) McVey, Noah (Kelsey) Johnson, and Emma Johnson; parents Mary and John Johnson; grandchildren Gianna, Karter, and Kingsley; and many cousins and special friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Betty Gibbons, cousin Anthony Johnson, grandmother Cordie Johnson, and special friend Windel Beachboard Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with services.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 14, 2019 at Faith Assembly Church of God in Anderson from 3-6pm with a dinner to follow. Cremation services were handled by Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service Anderson.
