Robert Louis Buchanan

Robert Louis Buchanan, 76, of Indianapolis, went to his heavenly home on November, 14, 2017. Bob was born on July 29, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Bob worked at Link Belt for 34 years, and then went on to work at P and J Tools for 20 years.

Bob enjoyed practical jokes, bowling, and spending time with his family. He also belonged to the Masons and was a member of the Miami nation of Indians of Indiana. He is survived by his father, Louis T Buchanan of Tomkinsville, Ky, his beloved Donna, and his 9 children: Sherri, Debbi, Vicki, Lori, Eugene, David, Cathy, Lisa, Michael. 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. Caregivers Karla and Jill. Bob also kept an open heart and door to many others. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Mae Buchanan, and 1 great granddaughter Allyson Nikole Harris.
Service will be held on Friday November 17, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. with visitation from 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services at 1604 West Morris St. Indianapolis, Indiana. The family asks that no comments be posted please.
