Robert Richey

Robert Richey, age 81, of Anderson, passed away at his home on February 1, 2022. He was born on Feb. 13, 1941 to the late John and Ruth Ann Richey.

Robert was a graduate of Marion High School. He enjoyed spending time on the computer, time with family and friends, and attending church functions. He was an excellent cook. He was a member of By His Grace Ministries and served as a deacon. He was a former member of MCARC. He was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert is survived by his wife Alice; children Mary Jordon of Kokomo, Lori Richey of Evansville, David Finley of New Castle, Jason Cole of Indianapolis; daughter-in-law Lisa Harney of Chesterfield’ several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephews Larry Richey of South Bend and David Richey of Wabash’ several cousins; aunt Joan Richey of Fowlerton; in-laws Lou Ann Moreland-Cummins of Anderson, Sandra Phillips (Steve) of Anderson; special brother-in-law Jim Moreland of Arcadia; special friend Howard Tidd of Anderson; and fur babies Howard and Hildey.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above, brother Larry Richey, and step-son Brian Harney.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
