Rodney Maurice Cummins

Rodney passed away at St.Vincent in Anderson after a brief illness at the age of 66.

Rodney was born in Tipton In. to Olan Maurice Cummins and Marjorie Ann Emehiser Cummins

Rodney grew up in Chesterfield. He graduated from Highland High School class of 1973. After school he joined the United States Army and was very proud of his service. After his honorable discharge he moved to Lima Ohio and started work at Ford Engine Plant until laid off. He finished his working career at Toledo Mold &Die. He lived also in Delphos, Ottoville and Spencerville Ohio. After twenty years in Ohio he moved back to his hometown of Chesterfield in 2015.

He was an avid fisherman and a big Colts fan and loved his daughter grandbabies, his family and also his loving dog Marley.

Rodney is survived by his daughter Maurissa Ann Cummins (fiancee) Brandon Hand. Sister Linda McAtee Granddaughters Ember Skye, Riverlyn Storm and Kynlee Renee from Wapakoneta Ohio.

Niece Jennifer Coonce, Great Niece Haleigh Walker, Zoe Coonce, Linleigh Wilhoite Great great niece Kinzey Krider all from Chesterfield, In.

Niece Angela Joseph Husband Chad, Great Nephew Evan and Great Niece Aubrey from Ft Jennings Ohio.

Niece Jenae Altman, Great Niece Jaylin and Great Nephew Ricky from Mobile Alabama.

Nephew Monte Coone, Wife Andi and family from Chesterfield,In.

Nephew James Cooley, Wife Stacy and family from Middle Point Ohio.

Niece Shannon McNamee and family. Niece Chrissy Hammons Husband Dusty and family from Delphos Ohio.

Also his only surviving Aunt Judy Riemesch, husband Bill from Elida, Ohio. Several surviving cousins and lots of friends.

Rodney and his niece Zoe were also best friends they hangout together every day.

Rodney was proceeded in death by his Dad and Mom, his twin Brother Ronald Olan and Brother Randall Dean and brother in law Kenneth McAtee and Grandparents and also several Aunts and Uncles.
