Rogelio Diaz

Rogelio Diaz, 43, passed away April 7^th2016. He was born in Moctezuma, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, on May 22^nd1972, to parents Ignacio Diaz and Bertha Moreno.

Rogelio Diaz was a proud, hardworking man. He moved to the states at the age of 19 to provide for and support his family. He was a painter by trade, yet all around handyman. There was not a person that he wouldn’t help. Rogelio inspired others through his kindness and work ethics.

Though he did not have a formal education, he aspired to establish and lead his own family paint business as an entrepreneur. He loved his work, especially with the thought of taking care of his family as his motivation.

He is survived by his father, Ignacio Diaz; and his five siblings, Fabiola Diaz, Jesus Diaz, Angelina Diaz, Jose Diaz,Yessenia Diaz.

He is survived by his wife, Fatima Diaz-Martinez, and by his 6 children: Rose Diaz, Emily Diaz, Victoria Diaz-Martinez, Rogelio Jr. Diaz-Martinez, Alejandra Diaz-Martinez, and Fernando Diaz-Martinez. He was preceded in passing by his mother, Bertha Moreno.

Viewing/Visitation will be from 9-11 am, followed by mass starting at 11am, on April 12^th, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church– 317 N New Jersey St,Indianapolis, IN 46204. Services will be in both English and Spanish. Arrangements provided by Legacy Cremation& Funeral Services – Lawrence.
