Roger Duane Majors

Roger D Majors, 68 of Indianapolis, Ind. Passed away June 18th, 2020. He was born March 17th, 1952, in Indianapolis Ind. to the late Charles R Majors and Edith M (Wyatt) Cronkhite.
Roger worked with his father as an arborist for over 20 years. He retired as a paper courier for Indianapolis star in 2017.
Roger loved playing softball as a teen. He was a great pitcher, he also played basketball in his youth. He enjoyed playing the lottery. Though he never hit.
Survivors include his two children of Indianapolis Ind. Beth Ann (Robert) Cherry, Nicholas (Sarah) Majors. 4 Grandchildren Ciara ( mayo) Brewer, Kenny Mayo, Aleeya Majors, Paxton Majors, Sisters, Judy Bishop, Paula (Majors) Siders, Dixie Gordon and Joyce Golman. Proceeded in death by his mother Edith Mae Cronkhite, father Charles Majors and sisters Joyce Golman and Cherokee S Starodub.
Visitation will be from 10am to 11am on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with the funeral service to start at 11am. Burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
