Ronney Paul Cox, age 61, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2023. He was born in Anderson on October 9, 1961, to Paul Cox and Nancy (Chambers) Cox.
Ronney attended Leach Elementary School growing up, then later went to Indiana Christian Academy and Frankton High School. Ronney worked in construction for many years, specifically concrete, learning all his skills from his father growing up. He was proud of his business and was an extremely hard worker.
From the beginning, Ronney started fast and loved living life to the fullest. He was adventurous, could be spontaneous, and was the life of the party everywhere he went. He touched the hearts of so many in Anderson and everywhere he went. He would do anything for anyone in need. He had the biggest heart. In his family, he was everyone’s favorite uncle. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, gardening, and ultimately having a good time. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ronney is survived by his wife of 17 years, Donna Cox; children Haiven Cox, Keeley Cox, Hannah Cox, Adam Fetty (Leslie), Austin Fetty (Amy), and Steven Fetty (Laura); ex-wife; grandchildren Adelaide, Amelia, Keiam, Kash, Dayahnna , Daydreon, Ja’lani, Gavin, Grayson, Jayden, Bayda, and Damion; siblings Johnny Cox (Lori), Levi JR Cox (Julie), Tommy Cox (Amy), and Cassey Dikowski; nieces and nephews Zachary (Garnette), Avery (Daniel), Calen, Levi, Caleb(Adrienne), Jenna Armstrong(Tucker), Tommy Jr., Olivia, Emma, Laila and Audrey; great-nieces and nephews Jackson, Dylan, Kennedy, Connor, Elias, Brooklin, Lilian, Kollin, Kale, Emmie, Ryker, Zoey, Zane, Grayson, and Maren; Aunts and Uncles Bob Chambers (Linda), Jay Chambers (Wilma), Wanda Vaughn, Pat Schuyler (Harold), Gary Cox (Penny), and Tim Cox (Cindy); and many other cousins and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents listed above, brother Timmy Cox, brother Jeffrey Cox, sister Pamela Cox, grandparents Levi and Viola Cox and John and Margaret Fields, Grandpa Earl Chambers.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 22, 2023, at 2pm at Middletown First Baptist Church located at 310 North 8th St, Middletown, IN 47356.
