Rosemary Harp, age 97, of Anderson, passed away on December 14, 2022, at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital. She was born on May 20, 1925, to the late George and Mildred (Dunn) Ginder.
Rosemary was a dedicated stay at home mom and wife for most of her life. She was a true go-getter, independent, and had a wonderful work ethic. She enjoyed mowing, being outdoors, riding bikes and walking. She and her late husband Robert would garden and can together. She was a dedicated Christian and proud member of North Anderson Church of God, then later, Madison Park Church of God. Faith and family were her number one priority, as she was a mother figure to all of her siblings growing up. She was an original member of the Jackson Park Church of God. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rosemary is survived by her children Bob Harp, Michael Harp (Debra), John Harp, and Cindy Jessup; grandchildren David Harp (Alyssa), Kacey Alspaugh (Micky), and Adrienne Everman (Steve); great-grandchildren Paija Harp, Jeremiah Harp, Breanna Gregory (Kerry), Karlee Cole, Ava Everman, and Hayden Everman; great-great-granddaughter Roselyn Byers; brother Ron Ginder; special friend Jerri Eastridge; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband Robert Harp Sr., siblings Bill Ginder, Jeanne Hogue, Marilyn Closser. Sharon Foley, and Wanda Yattaw.
A visitation will be held on Thursday December 22, 2022, from 12-2pm with a funeral service beginning at 2pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
