Rosemary Leah Britton

Rosemary Leah Britton, age 76, of Anderson, passed away on August 26, 2021 from an extended illness. She was born on January 11, 1945 to the late Floyd and Gertie Stohler.

Rosemary was the core of her family. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply, as they were her life. She was always happy-go-lucky and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children Beverly Goff (Scott), Michael Cooper (Patricia), Carl Cooper, and Ray Cooper; siblings Floyd Stohler, Lorena Short, Edward Stohler, and Dorothy Schussler; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her late husband Fredrick (Carl) Cooper, daughter Lois Ann Cooper, great-granddaughter Faith McCain, parents Floyd and Gertie Stohler, and siblings Charles Stohler, Evelyn Cooper, Tom Stohler, and Ruth Griffin.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday September 8, 2021 from 1-3pm with a funeral service beginning at 3pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Burial will take place at Pleasant Walk Cemetery.
