Ruthanne Bennett

Ruthanne Bennett, age 62, of Anderson, passed away at her home on January 14, 2021. She was born on April 28, 1958 to the late Richard and Mary Cain.

Ruthanne worked at Chesterfield Elementary School for several years before the school closed. She later worked for Dr. Beeson’s office as a Medical Assistant. She was a huge Nascar fan, especially cheering for Tony Stewart. She was a loving, hard-headed woman with a great sense of humor. She spent a lot of her time fishing and shooting guns with her husband. You could sometimes find her singing and dancing to Willie Nelson or Kid Rock. She was a character. She loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ruthanne is survived by her husband of 40 years, Randy Bennett; children Randy Bennett II (Monica), Brandy Bennett, and Casey Caldwell (Jeremiah); grandchildren Kaleb Bennett (Madison), Keegan Bennett, Kameron Caudill, Izabell Bennett, Lexi Westrater, Aleighah Matthews, Alanah Matthews, Fawn Cooper, Leif Cooper, Haleigh Busby, Travis Shaw (Kendal), Destiny Caldwell, and Alexis Caldwell; great-grandchildren Journee, Greyson, Reneighzmae, Vallerie, and Karsten; extra daughter Trista Detling; and many others.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, daughter Lisa Bennett, son Bryon Shaw, and grandson Zachary Caldwell.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
