Sandra Federspill

November 20, 1942 — March 3, 2025

Sandra Federspill (82), our beloved sister, mother and grandmother transitioned peacefully into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on March 3, 2025. She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Lisa Hoffman (Edward) and Cindy Denzio (Joe) and her two sisters Marsha Monday (Richard) and Jacqueline Faucett. She was the loved grandmother of six grandchildren- Jessica Denzio, Kevin Hoffman, Kayla Theobald (Kyle), Katelyn Denzio, Karen Denzio and Isaac Denzio. She was also blessed to welcome three great grandchildren, Westin (5), Bostin (3) and Lakelynn (1 month) and loved her family so very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Bernadine Lohman and her brother-in-law, Kenny Faucett.

When asked recently about her life, she said that her main love of life was being a mother. She was very proud of her two girls and was always bragging on them and their families. Family was her main interest, and she treasured time with her siblings and their families. If she could be surrounded by the entire crew, it would be her happiest day.

Sandra spent her life loving people. She always loved hanging out with her sisters, visiting, talking and sharing a meal. She loved a good conversation, and you would find her always trying to be a good encouragement and make people laugh. She would love a good debate too, if you dared go there- she was very smart and would likely stand strong on her side- don't get her going on religion or politics. Her commitment to her beliefs and strength allowed her to weather the days of the 60's and 70's as a single mother of two often working two jobs to support her small family. She valued education and completed her college degree at the age of 51, a goal that had been hers since high school. Sandy was committed to her Catholic faith and completed her catechism later in life but had been a strong believer of Jesus for most all her life. She would share her faith and hope with others as she loved to serve.

She worked the majority of her career for Herff-Jones in accounting and then human resources.

After retirement, she found what she considered her dream job serving as the receptionist at Wheeler Mission. She loved to be known as the Weathergirl and would start each day saying good morning over the intercom, sharing the weather and letting the guests know that Jesus loves them, and she does too.
