Sandra K. Bloomer

Sandra K. Bloomer (Sandy), age 76 of Cumberland, IN passed away Thursday October 10, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. She was born to the late Cecil and Pearl Smith on February 16, 1943.

She was born and raised in Pennington Gap, Virginia where she met her husband of 56 years, Cleo. They built a life together in Indiana. She retired after working 32 years at RCA, raised two children, made a happy home, enjoyed holidays and special occasions with her family. Christmas was her favorite time of year.

She always looked out for everyone else, making sure her family was taken care of. She has requested that we not have funeral services, she wanted everyone to stay home with their families and enjoy being together. However, an intimate graveside service is planned for the immediate family on Wednesday October 16th.

Preceded in her death, brother, Jerry Smith. Survivors include: Husband,
Cleo Bloomer, Son, Scott Bloomer(Lori) Daughter, Treva Roussey( Kerry), two brothers Ricky Smith(Melissa), David Smith (Amanda) several nieces and nephews, four grandchildren, Kaylee Henninger, Emilee Henninger, Jamie Rice(Zac)and Amanda Smith. And 5 great grandchildren Maverick, Nathan, Ezekiel, Lazarus and Jazelle.

Her amazingly positive attitude, witty sense of humor and kind soul will carry in our hearts forever.
