Sandra "Sandie" Middleton

Sandra “Sandie” K. (Rogers) Middleton, age 75, of Beech Grove, IN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 31st, 2023. She was born on June 26th, 1948, in Beech Grove, IN, to the late Michael and Janet (Mann) Rogers. 

Sandie was a wonderful wife & mother who was always there when anyone needed her.  She devoted her life to caring for others. She was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. She enjoyed spending time with family camping & fishing, and wouldn’t pass up an opportunity for a game of Yahtzee with her sis. Before her illnesses took over she was known as “The Energizer Bunny” making sure everything and everyone was tidy and taken care of.

Sandie is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Randy Middleton; her sister Barbara (Bobbi) Pine; her brother Michael Rogers; her children Dawn (Michael), Tina (Doug), Beckie (Rick), Dayna (Alex Sr), Lori, and Travis (Brianna); her grandchildren Josh (Candace), Marcus (Chelsea), Ryan (Natalie), Travis (Brianna), Michael (Kandice), Luke, Melanie (Joey), Stacey (Kyle), David, Alex Jr (Tynnley), Isaac, Gabriel, Christopher (Rebecca), Mikael (Alexis), Randy (Lexus), and Noah (Amber); her great grandchildren Kelsie, Kaytlynn, Tyson, Lucas, Kolton, Logan, Cole, Emmett, Maverick, Emma, Tommy, Amelia, Makenna, Mallory, and Estella; her many cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as a myriad of others to which she assumed a motherly role.

Sandie is preceded in death by her parents Michael and Janet (Mann) Rogers, Sisters Teresa (Terri) Cory and Michelle Lingenfelter, as well as many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46226, on Tuesday September 5th from 12-2pm and service at 2pm. 

A Graveside Committal Ceremony will immediately follow the service(approx 3pm) at Washington Park East Cemetery. For family & friends attending the graveside ceremony please note: prepare for inclement weather, limited seating will be reserved for immediate family, and travel from Funeral Home to Cemetary will be unescorted.
