Shannon T. Poling

ShannonT. Poling passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 after a 6 month battle withcancer. Shannon was a resident of Madison County his whole life. Hewas an avid water skier and loved riding and working on his Harley Davidsonmotorcycle.

Shannonwas very proud of his two sons, Gage and Cain, whom he loved very much. He is lovingly remembered for his genuine compassion for people.

Shannonwas grateful to his care staff at St. Vincent’s in Anderson, who were all verygood to him.

Shannonis survived by his mother and stepdad, Kathy and Gary Crist of Rochester,Indiana; father and stepmom, Dennis and Tammy Poling of Anderson; two sons,Gage Poling of Claypool, Indiana and Cain Poling of Waxhaw, North Carolina;sister, Stacie (Maxwell) Thompson of Ft. Myers, Florida; best friend, ChrisMartin of Anderson; girlfriend and companion, Gale Goodman of Anderson; twonieces, one nephew, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Shannonis preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary and Harold Webb; andpaternal grandparents, Gleela and Virgil Poling.

Arrangementsare in care of Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services. Services areprivate. A Celebration of Life remembering Shannon will be held at alater date.
