Sharon Lee Hankins-Evans

Sharon L. Hankins, 69, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on May 24, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She lost her battle from complications of chronic COPD and ultimately Dementia.
Sharon was a loving stay at home mom to her four children. Once her children grew up she worked for Walmart.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who called her Nanny, and were all her pride and joy. She loved butterflies and her favorite drink was Pepsi Cola. She loved to cross stitch and play board games.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry, Debbie, Sherry, and Michelle; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and her brother, David Hankins.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth McKenzie and her father, Jim Hankins.

Sharon will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery privately on May 28, 2021.
Her eulogy will be held by Pastor Mike Bandy, which will be announced at a later date – Friends will be welcomed to attend. Please check back for updates.
