Sharon Deloris Reynolds, 63, of Fortville, IN, passed away on December 4, 2024, in Noblesville, IN with her family at her side. She was born on November 29, 1961, in Portage, IN to the late James and Linda (Cooper) Reynolds. Sharon graduated from Portage High School in 1979 and International Business College – Ft. Wayne in 1980. Sharon was a member of Fortville Nazarene Church, Fortville, IN.
Sharon was born a lover of all things about horses. Her first horse was an Arabian named Masyn. She loved showing him at the Porter County fair, and even made it in the local paper several times. Her passion for horses never went away, even after she didn’t own any herself.
Sharon grew to love everything about farming when she met her best friend, Greg. She eventually moved onto his farm with him, where she was able to expand her knowledge of agriculture and horticulture. And when Greg passed away, Sharon’s apartment neighbors got to enjoy that love of plants from seeing her entire “green” balcony that she took pride in taking care of.
Aside from her love of horses and farming, Sharon took great pride in being a grandma. Playing bingo, having sleepovers, coloring, and making homemade pumpkin pie were some of their favorite activities to do together.
She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above and her siblings, Debra Reynolds, Michael Reynolds, Gary Reynolds, and Barry Reynolds.
Sharon is survived by her children, Jeramy Cruz (Jenny) of Crown Point, IN and Nicole “Nikki” Bannwart (Matt) of Noblesville, IN; grandchildren, Ezekiel Cruz, Ryan Cruz, Lucas Bannwart and Kinsley Bannwart.
Sharon’s brother, Jim Reynolds of Greenfield, IN went to join his sister in Heaven on December 5, 2024. He didn’t want her to have to go alone.
There will be visitation at 9:30am eastern time and a memorial service following at 10:30 am eastern time, on December 12th, 2024, at Fortville Nazarene Church, 701 S.
