Sharron Marie Campbell, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 28, 2021. She was born on August 26, 1948 in Rome, New York, to the late George and Kathryn (Boiko) Fadel. Sharron was one of nine kids, who grew up in her “Polish-Ukraine” home. She attended Rome Free Academy in Rome, NY. When Sharron’s mother passed away in 1966, Sharron dropped out of school and started working at “The Pub”. This is where she met her future husband, Robert, who was an airman stationed at Griffiss Air Force Base. They were married on February 24, 1968 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rome, NY.
4 years later, Sharron and her family relocated to Dover, Delaware. Robert was able to work at General Metalcraft. Dover became their new home, and this is where Sharron and Robert raised their 4 children. Sharron worked as a housekeeper at Westminster Village and Bay Health Medical Center while in Dover, along with being a great mother and wife. In May 2009, Sharron decided to move with her son, Joe, to Indianapolis, IN to live closer to her daughter, Cindy.
Sharron was an avid Phillies fan. She loved to eat at Cracker Barrel, and would stop in at any Goodwill or go to yard sales whenever she had a chance. Sharron loved spending time with her family and friends, and loved life in general, just having fun and laughing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Cynthia Campbell; along with her parents mentioned above; and siblings, George, Barbara, John, Marion, and Morris; and fur babies, Dixie and Snoopy, her 2 dachshunds.
Sharron is survived by her children, Bruce Campbell (Lorinda) of Merrillville, IN, Lynn Humphries of Indianapolis, IN, and Joe Campbell of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Kenny Campbell of Merrillville, IN and Johnathon Humphries of Indianapolis, IN; and siblings, Carol (Fadel) Gwin of Rome, NY, Bettie (Fadel) Setford of New Port Richey, FL and Christine Thompson of Syracuse, NY.
