Shawn Torrey Phillips, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectantly in a car accident on May 6, 2024. He was born on May 20, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William and Isabelle Phillips. Shawn has a very large family, that meant the world to him. He worked as a Karaoke host, and DJ, also hosted numerous weddings, and sang with several groups all over numerous states. He was an entertainer at heart, his passion was music, born with an amazing gift of the ability to sing, with an astonishing voice. His music will be forever treasured, along with the memories of an extraordinary man....Shawn Torrey Phillps, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Isabelle Phillips
Shawn is survived by his wife, Kristina Phillips; his children, Shalynn, Wendy, Zach, Vashawna, SoyncieRay, Raven, Meisha, Shawn, and Keagan; sisters, Sheila, Sharon, Sybil, Shelley, and Sarah; numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; along with many other extended family members and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Shawn, Saturday June 8th, from 5pm - ??? at the Beech Grove Moose, 3320 S. Emerson Ave., Beech Grove, IN, 46107.
Cremation Arrangements provided by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
