She was born July 9th, 1953, one of five children, to Bill and Irene Shaw in Oak Park, IL.
Shelly married Robert Vernon Schultz February 12th, 1971. Shelly was a devoted wife to the love of her life for 41 years, and a loving and dedicated Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
With her husband Bob, Shelly spent years serving her church community in different capacities: from caring for and teaching children to driving a bus, she made sure others were taken care of. She cared deeply for her family and friends, loving and serving them with a generous heart at every opportunity. That heart will be sorely missed by those that knew her, but the impact of her love and care will be felt for generations.
Shelly’s spirit of service also extended to her work. Together with Bob she built several home businesses and was a part of multiple entrepreneurial endeavors, which included being a long standing member of the Amway family. As a couple, they were dedicated to dreaming big things together for their family, and driven to reach them. And they were always encouraging and cheering their friends on to do the same. Shelly thrived being able to care for her family and friends in this arena.
