Steve R. Simpson

Steve R. Simpson, 69 of Indianapolis, passed away on September 5, 2016. Steve worked as an auto mechanic at Don Hall Standard for over 20 years, before moving to the Central State Hospital, where he worked for them for 15yrs in Grounds Maintenance. Steve is proceeded in death by his parents; Willie & Eva Simpson, brothers; Joe & Kenny Simpson and a sister; Rita Ramsey. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 47yrs Patricia (Patsy) Melton-Simpson, sons; Phillip Simpson, Steven (Shelley-Guidry) Simpson, granddaughters; Taylor Simpson, Chloey George-Simpson, Chandler Simpson, Kendyl Simpson, sisters; Wilma Hawkins, Bettie Couch, Glenda Hicks, Freida Spall.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 4PM ~ 8PM at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services 1604 W. Morris Street. Funeral will be held
at same location on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 11AM, with burial to follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
