Steven A. Johnson, age 38, died March 13, 2018 in Indianapolis, IN. Born May 10, 1979 to Robert A. Johnson and Mary J. Perrins in Indianapolis, IN. Steve was an Iron worker for Local Iron Work Union #22 and a proud father.

Survivors include his wife, Tabatha Johnson and son, Jaylen Johnson, both of Indianapolis, IN; his son, Devin Johnson; daughter, Jalyne Johnson; and partner Chandra Lester, all of New Palestine, IN; mother, Karen Johnson of Plainfield, IN; mother-in-law, Claudia Scott, of Indianapolis, IN; sisters, Vivian Johnson of Plainfield, IN and Jessica Brown of Indianapolis, IN; and brothers, Jason Johnson of Indianapolis, IN and Jerry (Leslie) Austin of Greencastle, IN. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Johnson; grandmother, Geneva Johnson; and son, Brendon Johnson.

Services will be at 5:30pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation starting at 3:30pm until the time of service.
