Steven Alan Dale

Steven Alan Dale, born on January 22, 1953, in Norfolk, Virginia, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025, in Anderson, Indiana. He was a remarkable individual whose life was characterized by a profound dedication to both his career and his family.

Steven's professional life was marked by many years of service at General Motors and Marion Metal, where he demonstrated unwavering commitment exceptional craftsmanship. His tenure at these esteemed organizations contributed significantly to the automotive and metal industries, resonating with colleagues and leaving a lasting impact on the establishments he served.

A wonderful family man, Steven was particularly known for the deep love he held for his great-grandson. His devotion to his family extended beyond the ordinary, as he steadfastly prioritized family gatherings and created memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

In his leisure time, Steven found joy and solace in the great outdoors, where he embraced nature’s beauty with enthusiasm. A passionate golfer, he enjoyed the camaraderie shared on the course, forging lasting friendships through his love for the sport.

Steven is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Dale; sister Amy; grandkids Lily and Ethan; and great-grandson Hayden. 

He is preceded in death by his son Christopher Dale. 

A visitation will be held on Monday March 3, 2025 from 2-4pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services - Anderson. 

Steven Alan Dale will be remembered not only for his contributions to his profession but also for the kindness and warmth he extended to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will continue to live on through the hearts of his family and friends.
