Sue Carol Goodrich

Sue Carol Goodrich, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 22, 2022(on her 76th birthday). She was born on January 22, 1946, in Indianapolis, to the late Wilmer B and Anna Lee Gibbs. She attended Broad Ripple High School and she was a manager at Always Inn, until retiring in 2011. When Sue was younger, she worked at Snafu Bar and Grill. Sue Carol was an extremely strong woman that held tightly to her faith as she battled many health issues over the last several years of her life. She was a member of Pastor Joel Osteen Church.

Sue Carol loved to play bingo, listening to music and having scripture read to her by her sister, Elaine. She lovingly worried and prayed for her kids Ann, Mike and David; along with everyone else that she cared about. Sue was an avid animal lover and mothered several fur babies over the years. She loved watching the Colts football games, The Bachelorette, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Most of all, Sue loved visiting with family and friends and listening to her husband, Thomas, play the guitar and sing to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; and her nephew, Scott Rennier.

Sue Carol is survived by her husband of 14 years, Thomas Goodrich; one brother, Willie Gibbs (Donna); one sister, Marie Elaine Rennier (Ron); sons Mike Staten and David Staten all of Indianapolis; daughter, Ann Cutshall of Port Neches, TX; one niece, Tiffany Rennier and nephews, Jason Gibbs, Kevin Gibbs, and Travis Gibbs; grandkids, Leeia Golden, Zach Staten, Weslee Staten, Todd Staten, Cody Staten, Chad Staten Polack, Dale Searl(TX) and 11 great grandkids.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any animal rescue.

A memorial gathering will be from 11am to 12pm on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a memorial service to start at 12noon.
