Susan Buergelin

Susan F. Buergelin, 45, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 25, 2019. She was born on March 3, 1974 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Susan graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1992. Susan was a Honey Bear there at Lawrence Central. She worked as a manager of banquets at the Westin hotels and a manager at The Walking Company shoe store.

Susan loved to sing, dance and make people laugh. Spending time with family was the most important thing to Susan and she left a mark in everyone’s life that she touched.

She is preceded in death by her father, Michael Buergelin

Susan is survived by her sons, Aaron Emery (Kaitlyn) and Michael Kramer; mother, Annette Jacob; siblings John and Chris Buergelin; husband Luis Alfonzo; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 2pm to 6pm on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a rosary to start at 5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am on Monday, December 30, 2019 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 4650 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a visitation one hour prior.
